TONY HANNAH

Tony Hannah was raised in Knoxville, TN and began performing music at an early age at family gatherings and church. Although she spent her teenage years in Berkeley, CA and Brooklyn, NY, performing in local coffee shops and bars, she draws from her southern roots for inspiration. Tony worked with Oakland producer, James Riotto, to record her recently released EP “Premonitions”.  It's a gorgeously spacious album with understated arrangements and a hint of southern nostalgia. Music Mecca blog states her new EP "Premonitions" is, "Comfortingly cohesive and as easing as a lullaby, making it feel like one big aural hug. Hannah’s country side shines through in her honest lyricism, but the way she implements the variety of acoustic instruments leaves a strong folk impression on her music as well.". She recently relocated to Nashville, TN where she frequently plays out at local venues in town. Be sure to catch her on tour for a few Kentucky shows opening for Jesse Daniel this July before headlining her own California tour.
